An easy baby hat PDF knitting pattern with a simple cable design. The pattern includes 6 sizes from newborn to 4+ years. The hat can be knit flat or in the round. Instructions are given for both methods.
The cable pattern has step by step photos and a video tutorial link to help you. It is a simple pattern with a 6 row repeat and would make an ideal project for someone who wants to try cables for the first time.

  • YARN: DK weight yarn

  • NEEDLES: 3.25 mm (US 3), 4 mm (US 6)

  • TENSION/GAUGE: 22 sts and 30 rows to 10 cm (4") in stocking stitch (stockinette)
