The bonnet is knit flat until the crown, where you can choose to continue flat and sew a small back seam or finish seamlessly in the round. Yarn: Cardigan - 220 - 440 metres (240 - 482 yards), Romper - 175 - 310 metres (190 - 340 yards), Bonnet - 75 - 130 metres (82 - 143 yards) DK weight yarn depending on size knitted

Needles: Cardigan - 3.5 mm (US size 4) and 4 mm (US size 6), Romper & Bonnet - 3.25 mm (US size 3) and 4 mm (US size 6) 

Tension/Gauge: 22 sts and 30 rows over a 10 cm (4") square in stocking stitch on        4 mm (US size 6) needles
